STEVE LEAVER
With an initial career in computing within the telecommunications industry, Steve has spent more than 20 years helping others grow and develop, both personally and professionally; including 12 years with the Vodafone Group and 3 years with Travelport.
Originally graduating with a degree in Computing Science, he now holds a master’s degree in Strategic Leadership and is a Chartered Engineer and IT Professional. As a certified coach he now works with senior executives and their teams to help them explore their hidden depths and achieve their peak performance both as individuals and as teams. His focus is to increase the contribution people are able to make within their organisations.
Steve has been involved with coaching across a wide range of environments, from coaching people through new experiences, to individual executive and senior team coaching and development. He takes an engaging, pragmatic and focused approach to developing the capabilities of people. Steve has led performance coaching programmes for senior managers and their teams, global leadership development programmes, succession planning, talent management, online learning and graduate development programmes.
His qualifications and accreditations include:
- Certified coach and MBTI practitioner (steps I and II)
- MSc Strategic Leadership (Learning & Development)
- BSc (hons) Computing Science
- Chartered Engineer & IT Professional – Member of the British Computer Society
- Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
Steve has a wide range of interests including travel and the outdoors, and he is also a qualified PADI scuba diving instructor. He has always had a strong community involvement, especially in learning related areas and is currently a director of his local Education Business Partnership.
